Testing Times in Tasmania
Tasmania is famous for being left off the map, but while Eden is considered a 'bell weather electorate' many of the big shifts have occurred in the 'Apple Isle'. Australia's first Casino, the Franklin Dam imbroglio, Bob Brown and the Greens, some great cricketers, and a third of the world's legal opium production, are some things made in Tasmania.
The Tasmanian Liberal State Government called and won a snap election in April/May. It
is notable that the Liberals under two Premiers have done little to arrest the
drift to the radical Left in social policy. Radical transgender laws, ‘Safe
Schools’, suppression of dissent against the abortion industry, a dodgy and
rushed euthanasia law, a proposal to punish anyone for attempting to help anyone struggling with same sex attraction,
ABC Watch
I appreciate the ABC for many things but their coverage of a number of issues has become increasingly skewed in recent years. It is the job of journalists to report the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to politics, and to do so without fear or favour. During the Trump Presidency however, every commentary published by the ABC in relation to the Presidency was written by a Democrat or Democrat aligned person. That would be the equivalent of the ABC only publishing opinion pieces on Biden that are written by paleo conservatives or Republican staffers. That hardly counts for journalism and is underserving of public funds.

As new scandals continually come to light and sexual deviants continue to find ways to access the minds and bodies of our children, one organisation is pushing back. Think Local, Act Global
It is a truism that nothing happens by accident. The forces
that are tearing at the social fabric in Australia are global, originated in
Europe in the 1930’s, and are now pushed aggressively by organisations
domiciled in the United States. It is very difficult for small Western
countries like Australia to stand against the tide. Therefore, we need to take
our place in the global struggle. There is a European based global organisation
that is fighting back in the United Nations and around the world. CitizenGo has
been chalking up victories pushing back against the more extreme proposals from
the LGBT, trans, and abortion lobbies. The fact that they face frequent massive cyber attacks of the kind and complexity that require the cooperation of nation states, or at least well funded cyber crime syndicates, is proof of their effectiveness. Watch their intro and support CitizenGo.
Meanwhile I am pleased to report that in California real feminism is not dead. Unsurprisingly this group has received death threats, but they look pretty OK to me.
Get Smart(er)! - alternative news and information
In contra-distinction to the West, the Russian government promotes marriage and sexual responsibility through the school system and is seeking constitutional amendments to, among other things, prohibit homosexual adoption. This government sponsored video really sums it up.
COVID Report
It is an understatement to say that the WuFlu has given governments and corporate oligarchs a looked for excuse to roll back freedom and take direct control of our lives. Be that as it may, we still have to grapple with the medical realities of a nasty bug circulating around the world. Many conservatives are over 50 and it is reasonable to be concerned.
Should we vaccinate? Are there alternatives? What voices should we listen to?

Film/Book Review
Towards a Soviet America is a book everyone should read. Written in 1932 it sets out in detail the Communist plan for a Soviet America, their targets, and their strategy, particularly their intention to dissolve or co-opt all the independent civic institutions.
Yuri Bezmenov was a KGB expert in cultural subversion working in India during the cold war. He defected, adopted the name Thomas Schuman, and eventually went public with a seminal lecture on how societies progress through different stages of demoralisation until they finally fall. At that stage they transition to a soviet dictatorship. While this lecture was given in 1984 it explains exactly where we are today and why. It is worth persevering with the poor quality reproduction.

The Sealed Section (for God Botherers and the Curious)
To everything there is a time… It is time to farewell Graham McDonald, a pioneering educator who brought a much needed perspective on Australia’s real cultural heritage. I had the privilege of meeting Graham two years ago. He will be missed, but catch up on some highlights and learn more of the untold history of Australia here.
